The Hornets are primed to sting

Following back-to-back victories over West Ham and Manchester United, Walter Mazzari’s Watford have climbed into the top half of the table and, on current showing, look poised to stay there.

Having scored an impressive total of seven goals during their recent ascent, it will come as no surprise to Fantasy Football managers that their attacking talent offers a cost effective solution to most teams.

With Etienne Capoue having earned plenty of plaudits for his goal scoring return, it may be the case that some of his teammates have slipped under the fantasy football radar.

With the industrious Pereyra impressing since his summer move from Juventus, his stock may just be ripe for managers to benefit over the coming weeks.

Similarly, the frontline of Igahlo and Deeney promises to pay a handsome dividend should managers be willing to make an investment based on the flashes of excellence shown last season.

FantasyGamble Continuing the theme of streaky players are Zaha and Firmino, of Crystal Palace and Liverpool, whose respective upturn in fortunes combined with seemingly favorable fixtures promises points aplenty in the coming weeks.

Friday Night Fever

As part of the impending changes to television rights, Friday Night Football will feature a minimum of ten times this season ahead of further changes in the ensuing Premier League Campaigns. Following Zlatan’s heroics in the season’s first Friday night clash, both Jurgen Klopp and Antonio Conte will be hoping that their own star men can produce an equally decisive performance in what is truly the first heavyweight clash  to take place on Friday in recent Premier League history.

With both teams set to benefit from a week of no European football, each set of supporters will be confident their side can continue what has been a good start to the season – particularly in the case of Conte’s new look Chelsea who remain one of only four unbeaten sides in the league – having salvaged a late draw away to Swansea last Sunday, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool look equally impressive going forward having moved 5 goals clear of Chelsea as the Premier League’s top scorers this calendar year in the wake of their 4-1 victory over Leicester last Saturday in a rejuvenated Anfield.

With Guardiola’s Man City continuing to set the pace at the summit, it is important that neither of these teams drop all three points in what is an early battle for a top-four berth, if not a title run. The good form of Diego Costa and Sadio Mane will see those two start as the key men for this fixture, while the supporting cast of Eden Hazard, Phillipe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Willian and the much anticipated return of Chelsea’s David Luiz make this a fixture that should not be missed – even for the neutral!

#PunditsPrediction – Liverpool to continue their good away form against top four rivals with Daniel Sturridge firing the Reds to victory from  a starting berth on the bench.

Ron and Rom not to be overlooked

Following a much maligned league goal drought extending as far as March last season, Lukaku helped himself to three goals and Ronald Koeman’s Everton to three points on Monday night against a hapless Sunderland.

The 3-0 victory made it three wins and a draw from the opening four games, meaning that Everton are one of just four unbeaten teams remaining in the Premier League.

With what looks to be a favorable run of fixtures ahead and Lukaku having broken his goal duct, it looks as if Everton are the team to bank on over these coming weeks.

Lukaku is a must pick for fantasy football managers, particularly with the absence of Man City’s Sergio Aguero through suspension. While Everton’s defence is beginning to look settled following some early season injuries – making the ever-roaming Seamus Coleman a excellently priced option for those looking to inject some attacking threat into their back line.

#FantasyGamble – Following a flawless European debut, Leicester City may just return rejuvenated to Premier League action. With Jamie Vardy once again proving the catalyst in their midweek victory, his return to form coincides with an upcoming run of challenging fixtures – the likes of which brought the best out of the 22 goal man last season.
